Al'Ula is a narrative-driven puzzle game where you manipulate the faces of a room using a Rubik’s Cube like object. You play as Mariam, an astronomer in Fes, Morocco, in the 13th century. 

One day, she comes across a mysterious object. After an accident while studying it, she finds herself trapped in a strange dimension where an unknown entity is trying to contact her. She now wishes to unravel the mysteries of this dimension and escape this space.

What I worked on as Tools Programmer :

Level Design Implementation Tool :​

    • 3D Tilemaps​

    • Isolate specific tiles for visibility

    • Save positions of all props in play mode, taking into account the room's rotations

    • Save the room's current layout in play mode to implement Correct Action feedback

​

This allowed the team to implement complex level design/art more easily and quickly.
